As staff members go through the new evaluation process for the first time, we want to remind everyone that this is our "Pilot Year" and we are trying to be as flexible as possible in our maiden voyage so as not to add stress to the lives of our already hard-working staff. With this in mind, the most important aspect of the process is coming up with some quality SMART Goals that staff members feel are useful. As long as your evaluator has your goals and your Educator Plan in hand and you each have a signed copy then you are set for this year. We are sure that the process will be different (and clearer) as we move beyond year one.

- Complete a Goal Setting Form
- If you need help with the Goal Setting, use this SMART Goal Planning Sheet. (This is optional)
- Fill out the Educator Plan Form - (Check the box that indicates that your Goals are attached since you have already completed the Goal Setting Form)
- Turn in your form your evaluator for a signature.
